CNC Turner
Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our team. The role involves programming, setting, and operating a Doosan Puma 2600 single turret lathe with C & Y Axis.
Responsibilities
- Utilize extensive CNC turning experience (minimum 5 years) to program, set, and operate the lathe.
- Demonstrate the ability to write and prove programs and work with small batch sizes (1-10 offs).
- Work with a variety of materials and understand engineering drawings.
- Work unsupervised and as part of a team to deliver high precision work within tight tolerances and schedules.
- Utilize FANUC CONTROLS and focus on programming at the machine.
Qualifications
- Extensive CNC turning experience (minimum 5 years).
- Ability to write and prove programs.
- Good all-round knowledge of machining various materials.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Experience with small batch sizes (1-10 offs) and understanding of engineering drawings.
- Capability to work with high precision and tight tolerances within set time schedules.
- Proficiency with FANUC CONTROLS and emphasis on programming at the machine.
Day-to-day
The day-to-day activities will involve programming, setting, and operating the Doosan Puma 2600 single turret lathe with C & Y Axis. Working with small batch sizes, understanding engineering drawings, and ensuring high precision work within tight tolerances and schedules will be the focus.
