We're Hiring: Automation Superintendent – LNG Maritime Operations

VHR is proud to be partnering with a prestigious client in the maritime industry to recruit an experienced Automation Superintendent to oversee the technical performance of LNG infrastructure assets.

As the go-to expert in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation (E/I/A) systems, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of high-value LNG vessels and assets. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily E/I/A support to onboard teams and Technical Superintendents

• Oversee E/I/A scopes for existing and newbuild LNG assets

• Prepare specs and supervise dry-docking and major maintenance

• Execute system modifications and upgrades

• Manage certification, technical budgets, and procurement

• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure full compliance and operational excellence

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Automation or Electromechanics (or equivalent experience)

• 3+ years in a maritime technical role or sailing experience as an Automation Engineer

• Strong knowledge of DCS, SIS, Honeywell systems

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Familiarity with maritime rules and regulations

• Fluent in written and spoken English
