Position: Technical Standards Engineer

As a Technical Standards Engineer, you’ll be a key part of a quality-focused technical team ensuring best-in-class standards across heavy maintenance operations.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor aircraft maintenance activities and documentation at the task level across assigned hangars.
  • Collaborate closely with hangar management, engineers, and mechanics to correct procedural and documentation discrepancies.
  • Provide hands-on coaching to ensure compliance with technical documentation and regulatory standards.
  • Collect and analyze non-compliance data and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with applicable Part 145 regulations and internal policies; suggest areas of improvement for procedures and processes.
  • Participate in environmental and safety programs and report any related non-conformities.

 

What You Bring:

  • Licensed B1/B2 Aircraft Engineer with Airbus and/or Boeing type approvals – does not need to be current
  • At least 10 years’ experience in aviation maintenance, including significant heavy/base maintenance exposure.
  • Solid understanding of EASA Part 145 certification and release requirements.
  • Proven leadership in roles such as Supervisor, Shift Leader, or Technical Representative.
  • Strong experience with Quality & Safety Management Systems, auditing, and Microsoft Office tools.
