Job Description:

As a Manufacturing engineer you will lead the development and support of manufacturing solutions with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance. You will be part of the Assembly team and will drive process improvement through root cause analysis, Lean initiatives, and Zero Defect Manufacturing tools. 
 

Duties include: 

• • Develop and implement technical manufacturing solutions with a safety-first mindset, ensuring compliance with company HSE standards
  • Provide technical support for production integration, manage tooling and planning from concept to launch
  • Drive improvements using Zero Defect Manufacturing tools
  •  Resolve vendor quality and scheduling issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  •  Oversee product and process development, deliver metrics-driven results aligned with program goals, foster strong team collaboration, and champion continuous improvement through Lean initiatives.

Requirement:

• experience in managing new product/process introduction (industrialization)
• 10 + years + of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing environment
• Degree in engineering discipline such as Aerospace, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering 
• Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000.
• Quality driven and strong documentation / reporting skills.
• Working knowledge of LEAN processes and practices
• Working knowledge of machining processes (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and of surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) would be an advantage.
