Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our team. The role involves programming, setting, and operating a Doosan Puma 2600 single turret lathe with C & Y Axis.

Responsibilities

• Utilize extensive CNC turning experience (minimum 5 years) to program, set, and operate the lathe.
• Demonstrate the ability to write and prove programs and work with small batch sizes (1-10 offs).
• Work with a variety of materials and understand engineering drawings.
• Work unsupervised and as part of a team to deliver high precision work within tight tolerances and schedules.
• Utilize FANUC CONTROLS and focus on programming at the machine.

Qualifications

• Extensive CNC turning experience (minimum 5 years).
• Ability to write and prove programs.
• Good all-round knowledge of machining various materials.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Experience with small batch sizes (1-10 offs) and understanding of engineering drawings.
• Capability to work with high precision and tight tolerances within set time schedules.
• Proficiency with FANUC CONTROLS and emphasis on programming at the machine.

Day-to-day

The day-to-day activities will involve programming, setting, and operating the Doosan Puma 2600 single turret lathe with C & Y Axis. Working with small batch sizes, understanding engineering drawings, and ensuring high precision work within tight tolerances and schedules will be the focus.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. This role offers an hourly rate in the region of £16-£17 per hour with overtime at x 1.5. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general engineering duties including countersinking, fettling, riveting, and assembly, with the opportunity for training to operate an Amada CNC punching machine.

Day-to-day

The basic hours for this role are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm (39 hours). Additionally, there are 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays, with flexibility to start from 6:30 am and finish from 10 am on Fridays.

Job Duties: 

Prepare the project execution plan as per project specifications & requirements
Performing contract administration duties, preparing project reports & attending project progress meetings
Co-ordination with project management team, contractors & subcontractors
Managing interior construction, Coordination, and Progress meetings
Must have strong understanding and experience of tendering & bidding, Project Planning, Quantity Survey, 
Procurement, Project Management, Project Execution, Fit Out & Interiors
Strong knowledge of tendering & Bidding for the projects
Scheduling and Coordination.
Ensure project management and timely completion of the assigned projects in adherence to specifications of cost, quality and safety.
Upon receipt of a new project, devise a project implementation plan in consultation with managers.
Ensure that schedules are released to post contracts for approval on compliance to budgets.

Create all necessary micro planning documents for the scheduling and execution of the project, e.g. production plan, installation plan, etc.

Work closely with post contracts and planning team to identify project prioritization, devise implementation plan and micro level schedule.

Discuss the draft production plan with planning and factory teams to ensure mitigation of any scheduling conflicts.

Skills:
Architecture, Interior - Design & Drawings, Concept Design, Technical Drawings
Auto Cad, MS Office suite 

Education: 
Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Architectural, Interior Designing or relevant field 

Required to have 10+ years of work experience in UAE / GCC 

Required to have 5 years of experience in the Electrical Construction and Maintenance field in UAE / GCC

•    Responsible for managing and supervising the daily activities of the team 
•    Experienced of safe working practices
•    Strong experience in risk assessments, method of statements and permit to work systems.
•    Strong understanding of drawings & specifications.

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
•    Must have UAE work experience
•    Preferred candidates who are currently available in UAE
