VHR is hiring for our client who provides refurbishment, aircraft management, aviation consulting and maintenance services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a permanent position with growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes the engineering documents (electrical/mechanical drawings, ground checks, specifications, project description)
- Works effectively with engineering teams and relevant shops
- Establishes and updates the aircraft maintenance manual (AMM) supplements.
- Establishes and updates the Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) supplements.
- Produces the isometric illustrations.
- Tracks the design revisions.
- Prepares the customer documentation package.
- Develops technical documentation libraries (illustration and reused sentences)
Mandatory Requirements:
- Technical Author, master’s degree or senior technical author
- Mechanical engineering level
- Experience using Adobe Framemaker/Illustrator, IsodrawCADprocess, Sketchup, AutoCAD
- MS Office (Word, Excel) and CAD literacy
- Very good communication skill in English (spoken and US-written)
Desirable Requirements:
- AMOS experience would be an advantage.
- German language skills
- XML and VB Script would be an advantage.
