JUNIOR QUALITY ENGINEER

The Opportunity:

As a Junior Quality Engineer, you’ll be looking after the Calibration, Job record archiving processes and supporting on the technical data management process.

As a quality liaison, you will be interacting with all project stakeholders such as the Finance, Operations, Facilities teams as well as with external vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Be the Quality focal for Calibration and Job record archiving processes.

   Responsible for project management on the assigned projects with regards to the quality function.

 Supporting the team on quality and regulatory audits

   Calibration vendor audit and evaluation to bring the vendor on board with the company/project quality requirements.

 Reviewing technical data and discerning requirements from a quality perspective

 Perform ad hoc tasks as per business need.

 Reporting metrics on Calibration, archiving and technical data processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

 Diploma in Engineering (Bachelor’s in engineering will be an added advantage)

   Minimum Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in calibration of instruments/equipment

 Sound knowledge of Metrology.

 Exposure to ISO 9001 / TS 16949/ AS 9100 standards.

 Experience in an aircraft/component maintenance environment preferred.

 Knowledge of Part 145/CAR 145/FAA 145 Regulatory requirements preferred.

 Excellent project management skills.

 Ability to manage multiple priorities.

   Sound communication skills

 Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
