Are you a skilled CNC Sliding Head Turner with expertise in Mitsubishi Controls? We are currently showcasing an exciting position on behalf of one of our clients based in Luton. This role provides the opportunity to showcase your experience working with Star or Citizen machines and your strong understanding of CNC machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Sliding Head machines with a focus on Mitsubishi controls
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Program CNC machines as per job requirements
• Monitor machine operations to ensure high quality and precision
• Perform routine maintenance on machines as necessary
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC Sliding Head machines, particularly with Mitsubishi controls
• Experience working with Star or Citizen machines is preferred
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Day-to-day

• Programming and setting up CNC Sliding Head machines
• Operating machines to produce high-precision components
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications
• Collaborating with team members to optimize production processes
• Troubleshooting and performing maintenance on machines as needed
