Join a key operational hub of a major airline as a Duty Manager – Maintenance Control Center (MCC). The Role
As Duty Manager in the MCC, you’ll take charge of real-time technical operations across the fleet. This includes coordinating recovery plans for grounded aircraft, overseeing communications with MROs and flight crews, and driving performance within the control center. You will be instrumental in maintaining on-time performance and delivering rapid, data-driven decision-making under pressure.
Key Responsibilities

Lead MCC operations during your shift, managing coordination between internal departments (IOCC, OCC, Maintenance) and external MRO partners.

Provide immediate technical direction and recovery planning for aircraft on ground (AOG) scenarios.

Advise flight crews on technical matters with safety and compliance as top priorities.

Monitor fleet status, fleet health performance, and critical incidents – ensuring detailed, timely reporting and follow-up.

Coordinate shift workloads, prioritize based on operational impact, and ensure service delivery meets airline standards.

Prepare detailed reports on delays, incidents, and performance KPIs for senior management review.

Support planning, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives within the MCC.

Supervise and mentor staff to ensure a high-performance, safety-first culture across the team.
Who We’re Looking For

Significant experience in an MCC or airline maintenance control environment.

Deep technical understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and aviation regulations.

Strong leadership qualities with the ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure situations.

Skilled communicator with proven ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and external partnerships.

Experience in performance reporting, data analysis, and improvement planning.

Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards in an aviation context.
- EASA/ICAO/CAA or FAA License with B777 type rating endorsed with previous CRS experience is essential for this role
