Contract Project Manager - Aviation Program

£500 per day | Outside IR35 | Immediate Start

We have an urgent requirement for a hands-on Project Manager to lead the facility readiness delivery on a large-scale aviation facility conversion. Your role will be to manage the master schedule, coordinate multiple workstreams from construction to operational handover, and ensure go-live objectives are met on time and to military standards.

Reporting to the Program Director, you'll be the central liaison between project sponsors, engineering teams, facility managers, and regulatory bodies while maintaining program governance across parallel deliverables.

This is very much a role where you will need to be hands on with the way you manage stakeholders and facilitate meetings to get things done on time!

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive program objectives to completion on time.
• Develop and manage the facility readiness master schedule
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory stakeholders
• Establish program controls and facilitate progress meetings
• Monitor risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex aviation programs
• Highly proficient using MS Project
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables in fast-paced environments

Contract Details:

• Rate: £500 per day, outside IR35
• Duration: 5-month initial contract with possibility for extensions
• Start: Immediate
